It's Sunday dinner and my dad's in charge. The meal started off with a Caesar Salad as we've grown some amazing looking romaine lettuce (our first go at it and I'm sure a yearly thing now). Our main entree was grilled porkchops coated in two mustards (Dijon, and a grainy mustard) and honey garlic sauce. This was served with corn on the cob (also grilled), carrots and wonderful green beans they had been given by a neighbour who enjoyed a bumper crop this year. For dessert, Michael took over the last of his apple pie that he had made a while back and had put the leftovers in the freezer. We do enjoy our Sunday dinners.Sunday, August 22, 2010
