Dining Out

We decided to return to our previous routine of dining out on a Friday night. We're still lamenting the loss of Little Mexico Cantina in Steveston, but thought we'd try to soldier on. Our location for dinner this evening was still in Steveston, but at Paesano's which opened this location sometime last year. I ordered the manicotti with spinach and ricotta done in a tomato sauce and Michael ordered the chicken parmigiano with vegetables. The food took a while to arrive, but we were quite content to wait and enjoy our wine. Our service was good, but I found the restaurant to be on the noisy side. It served its purpose, but we won't be running back anytime soon. It really is proving difficult to find a nearby restaurant with just the right combination of food, service, and pricing that we would want to make a regular habit. We're open to suggestions if anyone would like to comment.
